This is one of the closest hotels to our venue, and we would recommend staying here if you'd prefer a short drive after the reception. Please call as we have reserved a block of 25 rooms at this hotel under the "Schrader Elder Wedding." To receive the special wedding rate please be sure to reserve your room before May 12th.

PDX is about a 45 minute drive from our venue located in Sandy, Oregon. To see everything that Portland has to offer we recommend that you rent a car for the weekend.

For those of you looking for a non-traditional or long term stay, there are a plethora of unique local options on Airbnb, VRBO, and Homeaway that could satisfy your desire for a different or more "Portlandia" experience. We recommend looking near Sandy or near the base of Mt. Hood.

Transportation will be provided from Best Western Sandy to the Inn at Avonlea and back. We will have a shuttle van at 320 leaving and 330 leaving for the venue and again at 945 and 10 back toward the venue. Please let us know if you need a ride!
