We're Getting Married

Our story began in April 2018, and right from the start, something just clicked. We became best friends almost immediately, and over time, that friendship grew into something we never expected. Looking back, it’s funny, our friends were picking up on it long before we were. That summer, we spent hours driving around with no destination, just talking about life, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company. Somewhere in between the late-night conversations and spontaneous adventures, we fell in love, though it took us a little while to realize it ourselves. By December of that year, we finally made it official. Since then, we've shared so many unforgettable moments, big and small. From our first trips together to quiet evenings in, every part of our journey has brought us closer and shown us what it means to truly be each other’s person. Now, all these years later, we are so excited to take the next step in our journey together: marriage. We feel incredibly lucky to have grown from best friends into life partners, and we’re so grateful to have you by our side as we begin this new chapter. We can’t wait to share this special day with the people who mean the most to us. On May 3rd, 2024, Nicholas asked Carly the big question. What she didn’t know was that he’d been secretly planning it for months, wanting to make it something truly special. He set up a surprise private tour at the zoo, complete with a behind-the-scenes visit to see Carly’s favorite animals—the elephants. His idea? Pop the question with a little help from some giant, wrinkly friends. Carly was totally caught off guard, and the elephants couldn’t have timed their appearance better. As they stood nearby, Nicholas got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. It was sweet, simple, and absolutely perfect. It was one of the happiest days of our lives, and now we’re counting down the days until we get to celebrate with all of you!
