Welcome Party

We’re so excited to welcome everyone to Nantucket and kick off the weekend with you! Join us at Cru, one of our favorite places, for cocktails, light bites, and great company as we welcome you to the island and celebrate the start of our wedding weekend.
Dress for a festive evening by the harbor - cocktail attire with a coastal touch. Although the space is primarily indoors, it can be cool by the water in October, so bring a layer to stay warm while enjoying the harbor views.

Our Ceremony and Reception

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors on the lawn overlooking the water at The White Elephant. After cocktail hour, we will move indoors for dinner and dancing, where the evening will be comfortably warm. We recommend planning accordingly to be outdoors; coastal weather in October can vary - from feeling like summer, to cooler breezy conditions.
We kindly request black-tie optional attire for our celebration. For women: Floor-length gowns, elegant evening dresses, or sophisticated cocktail attire are all welcome. Please note the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on grass, so we recommend avoiding pointy heels. Consider bringing a shawl, wrap, or light jacket just in case. For men: Tuxedos are welcome, though not required. Dark formal suits with a tie or bow tie are equally appropriate.

The celebration continues at our after party with dancing, drinks, and late-night bites! PLEASE NOTE our afterparty is a quick 2 minute walk from our reception!! There will be buses/umbrellas in the event of inclement weather, but otherwise please follow the crowd or map to 19 N Water Street OR to White Elephant Village. It is across the street from Lola 41 and down the driveway. We will have signage at the door!

Brunch

We would love everyone to join us starting at Sandbar for an informal brunch. We will have tables reserved in the sand (weather permitting) at the special place Carly and Connell used to work! Sunday is "closing day" for Sandbar, Cru, and Slip 14 - so all restaurants will have themed closing parties. This is one of the best days on island of the year - so we'd love to have anyone that's up for it join us and keep the celebration going! After brunch, we will go from place to place - theme updates to follow!
