We’re getting married at the Gayda family home in Peru, a small mountain town in Southern Vermont. The area is rural and scenic, so traveling from out of town will require a bit of advance planning.
The most convenient airport is Albany International Airport (ALB), approximately 1.5 hours away. Burlington International Airport (BTV) (about 2.5 hours away), Bradley International Airport (BDL) (about 2.5 hours away) and Boston airport (BOS) (about 3 hours away) are also good options depending on flight availability. Because Southern Vermont is a rural area with no public transportation, driving or renting a car is a must.
