About Us

This is about as fancy as we get.

We got engaged while in Sedona - celebratory photo at the top of the mountain!

Usually, Shane falls asleep when he flies with Carly. This is a rare moment of alertness.

Our first apartment together in St. Paul, MN - this photo was taken just as we were leaving to move out to Arizona.

We added to our family this year with our new doggo - Fern. She's turning into a great hiking bud.

#TBT to the 20 inches of snow we got last April in Minnesota. We turned it into a celebration of our last big snowstorm before moving to the desert.

This is Fern - we adopted her from the animal shelter this winter and she has made a wonderful addition to our zoo.

Fig and Clifford. Fig is Carly's cat, who made the move to MN from D.C. & Clifford was adopted spontaneously because Carly and Shane thought Fig needed a workout partner.
