Downtown Stillwater is a fun and cute town for shopping, food and a stroll alongside the St. Croix river. Nick's favorite restaurant is Leo's Grill & Malt Shop where he was a server in the 5th & 6th grade!
Hudson is another fun and cute town along the St. Croix river on the Wisconsin side with good restaurants and shops. Pier500 and Dragon Pearl are Nick's favorite restaurants while Fleet Farm is a must visit shopping stop!

This is Wisconsin's oldest state park. It's an easy walk with a beautiful waterfall view.
St. Paul has many interesting and fun things to do including the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, Science Museum of Minnesota, Historic Fort Snelling and Minnesota Children's Museum. St. Paul also features large historic homes which cover several blocks including James J Hill's gorgeous mansion from his time as a railroad developer. The Minnesota Transportation Museum and Model Railroad Museum is great for those who like trains. There is a train ride that goes up the river and crosses from Minnesota into Wisconsin.
Minneapolis has many interesting sights and attractions including Target Field to catch a Twins baseball game, Minneapolis Museum of Art for art lovers, Minnehaha Park for a waterfall view and nice hike near the Mississippi River, the Mill City Museum to learn about General Mills flour production and building explosion and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden to see the big cherry on a spoon!
The town of Taylors Falls is a quaint town north of Stillwater along the St. Croix river with small shops and cafes. The Interstate state park is right next to the town with trails to hike and potholes to see. You can also take a scenic ferry boat ride down the St. Croix river. North of the town at Wild Mountain there are Alpine slides, go karts, an airbag jump and water park!
