Yes, both the ceremony and reception will take place at Afton Alps! The ceremony will take place outdoors on the lawn (weather permitting) in front of the chalet and the reception will take place upstairs in the chalet.

As guests drive east on 70th St S take a left on St. Croix trail S (otherwise you will enter Afton State Park). Drive straight until a pair of gates are visible and then turn left. Continue down the hill toward the first parking lot adjacent to the chalet and park.

Yes! Nick and Carly have reserved room blocks at one hotel- The Sheraton in Woodbury. On the Travel page guests will be able to click on the link that will take them to the site to book the room at the discounted rate. The discounted rate for the room is $139/night and it is for the nights of May 24th and May 25th.
Guests will need to provide their own transportation. Rental car agencies are available at MSP for those arriving at the airport.
Nick and Carly request guests come in semi-formal dress attire.
During this time of year the weather fluctuates. A high of 80 or a low of 50 could be expected. Nick and Carly recommend guests bring a nice sweater or suit coat in case the weather is on the cooler side.

Yes, there will be a 2 hour gap between the ceremony and reception. During this time Nick and Carly will have a ski lift running where guests can ride the lift to the top of the hill to see the beautiful St. Croix valley views. They will also have some games to play outside and appetizers and drinks will be available.
