The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin is just off Times Square and is an Episcopalian Church in the Anglo-Catholic tradition. We're getting married on a Saturday, so it won't be a Solemn Mass. But Smoky Mary's, as it is affectionately known, is a very active Church. Founded on December 8, 1868, its primary ministry and charitable works focuses on those around Times Square. During our service, it is extremely likely that there will be parishioners, tourists, and perhaps even a few people in need in the Church celebrating Mass.
