The MOST recommended activity for tourists and locals is the Wendella Architecture Tour. Scott and I have done the "90 Minute Chicago River Tour" several times and it never gets old thanks to an abundance of fascinating Chicago history. Yes, even in October we say this is a must do activity. Try the code "DoGood" for 50% off. P.S. You will even get a sneak peak of The Old Post Office!
Randolph Street AKA "Restaurant Row" is home to many of Chicago's best restaurants. After spending a year living right there, we simply can't recommend just one place to try so here are some of our favorites! Pro tip - make a reservation (like soon). Sushi Doku, Girl & The Goat, Boqueria, Aba, La Josie, Bar Siena, Lena Brava, Au Cheval & more
Chicago isn't exactly known for its bagel scene, but we have recently been blessed with Gotham. Originally a Madison, WI bagel deli Carli promises it won't disappoint! This location is take out only. Grab a bagel and head east a few blocks to the Lake Shore Path for a morning stroll!
There are not enough words to describe how much we love Portillos. Please don't just take our word for it and try it yourself - a famous Chicago dog, Portillos Beef or Carli's favorite the Chopped Salad with a large side of cheese fries.
