FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by Sunday, November 1st 2026. RSVP's can be submitted on the website (under RSVP tab) or by texting Carli at 715/432/4001.

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony AND reception will be held at the Rib River Ballroom in Marathon, Wisconsin. The address is as follows: 135737 WI-29, Marathon City, WI 54448.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If your invitation includes ceremony, please arrive 15-30 minutes early to find your seat and get settled. We suggest around 3:30pm. If your invitation is for the reception only, please arrive after 6:30pm. Carli and Noah will be around to chat, or come see us on the dance floor!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be semi-formal, long or short dresses are fine (but remember it is winter so plan accordingly). Please avoid wearing blue jeans, black jeans and khakis are acceptable. There will be an area to hang up a coat, but please no snow boots.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We carefully considered all of our guests and their potential needs; however, we are only able to accommodate the guests explicitly listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We kindly ask that our ceremony remain adult-only. While we love your little ones, it is safer for the event staff and your little ones to remain at home until the reception. For our reception, kids are welcome! This would be starting after 6:30pm.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Absolutely! For guests invited to the ceremony & reception, we will be having a formal dinner. For guests invited to the reception only, we plan to have a 'late night snack' at 9pm. Drinks will be available throughout the entire duration of the event!

Question

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Our venue will do absolutely everything that they can! Please include any dietary needs when you RSVP so that we can plan accordingly and indicate such with our vendors.

Question

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Of course! However, for convenience, we recommend sending gifts directly to our home ahead of time. A link to our registry is included on the website.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

If you are in the wedding party, there is a house on-site for you to stay at. For all other guests, the travel page has a few different hotels to choose.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a wonderful photographer that we trust wholeheartedly. We kindly ask that you keep phones away during the ceremony and enjoy the moment with us. We promise to share our professional photos later!

Question

When will the celebration end?

Answer

The reception will wrap up around 11pm; however, we understand that everyone has a different timeline so stay with us as long as you please! When it is time to say goodbye, feel free to head out on your own time. We would enjoy to spend our time present with guests and on the dance floor.

Question

Who should I contact if I have more questions?

Answer

Prior to the wedding, please feel free to contact to Carli at 715/432/4001. On wedding day, please direct questions to Nina James (maid of honor).
