Our Story

Our story began over six years ago at Missouri S&T during Ganan’s last semester of college. One Thursday night at El Maguey, Carley met him through a mutual friend. At the time, Ganan wasn’t looking to date since he was about to graduate and move home to gain clinical hours for Physician Assistant school. But three months later, he asked Carley out for ice cream and that’s when everything changed. We talked and laughed until the shop closed and quickly realized how natural it felt to be together. The timing may not have been ideal on paper, but the connection was instant, and neither of us wanted to let that go. On May 18, 2019, Ganan’s graduation day, we decided to give long distance a try. For the next two years, we made it work while Carley finished school and Ganan moved back home to work as a scribe. From summer internships to weekend road trips, late-night FaceTime calls, and even navigating the pandemic, we always found ways to keep our relationship strong. In 2021, everything changed. Ganan was accepted into Physician Assistant school at Saint Louis University, and Carley moved to St. Louis so we could finally end long distance. We’ve been here ever since—building our life together, falling in love with the city, and creating new memories. One of those memories became our favorite: on March 23, 2025, Ganan proposed at Art Hill in Forest Park, one of our favorite places in St. Louis. It was the perfect setting for the next chapter in our story—a chapter we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you. And because adventure has always been at the heart of our relationship, we’re beyond excited to get married in the red rocks of Moab, Utah.
