Down in the west Texas town of El Paso...

Well, it actually started about 10 years ago at The University of Texas. He was a senior; she was a sophomore. Running in the same circle of friends, it was a classic story: boy saw girl, boy liked girl, but, here's where it goes astray, friends -- boy never spoke to girl. They both went on to graduate and live separate lives. But then, 8 years later, they both found themselves on Bumble. It started with a simple swipe right but, it was his profile -- which included a clever rock joke & boasted proudly about great music taste -- that caught her eye. On their first date he confessed that he was moving to Houston for law school. She wasn't even the least bit derailed by the distance. 24 hours after, they found themselves singing their hearts out at Pete's Piano Bar which led to a confession on his part that they were in fact not strangers at all. Some people may have been weirded out, but for her, his confession sealed the deal. So they decided to be karaoke partners forever.

Thanks to.. you know.. we made the difficult decision to downsize our wedding plans for 2020. In the presence of immediate family only, we said "I do" in a private ceremony at Hotel Emma in San Antonio, TX on October 24, 2020. We will forever cherish this special day and look forward to FINALLY celebrating with all our loved ones near and far on November 13, 2021!!!
