Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Carley Ann Hangebrauck and Dylan Curtis Taylor
Meet our friends who have given us the honor of saying "yes" to being apart of our big day!

Kaylee Santana

Matron of Honor

Kaylee and I met in AWANAS at the elementary age level. Most of our early days were spent seeing each other twice a week at church, and as we grew older, we started going to Hume Lake Christian Camp together. Hume was practically Kaylee and her family's second home, and I was blessed enough to go up early (before camp started) a handful of times and spend quality time with Kaylee and her family. At Hume, we would have random dance parties to the newest hit of that year, sing along to her playing the guitar, go grab shakes, and take adventures! In high school, we always enjoyed the moments when we were able to see each other...neither of us was driving at that point, so texting was our thing! Heads up- Kaylee makes the best tasting cooking dough I have ever eaten (I will always appreciate that treat when you said bye to me as I headed off to CCU!). Recently, we have enjoyed hiking and getting together for group gatherings. Who knew hiking with friends could be so rewarding and satisfying! As my Matron of Honor, she has helped me so much with planning my wedding! I for sure could not plan it all on my own, so I am so beyond grateful that she is able and willing to take up this project with me! She is now a mamma of 1, so it has been fun seeing her in this new chapter! In August, it will be a decade (August 2016) since Kaylee got married and asked me to be in her wedding...almost to the day when Dylan and I are getting married!

Myles Corrigan

Best Man

Since Mrs. Fruit’s third-grade class, Myles and I have been close friends for years. Our friendship started with calling each other on the landline to watch *Total Drama Island* together. We stayed close through high school, especially in Mr. Hill’s Pre-Calc class, where I would rage-bait our teacher while Myles cheered me on. Then we would follow it up with Profe Harris’s Spanish 3 class, where we would stab Brisco with pencils, causing him to lose participation points. While attending Folsom Lake College, we spent our time talking fantasy football, and he introduced me to Ryan. He may have left for Oklahoma after FLC, but our friendship never changed. I once ordered Domino’s to be delivered to him in the middle of a tornado warning. Our daily rituals have now evolved into daily conversations about sports, and our friendship has stayed strong even though we are 500 miles apart. He loves to boast about his 8 wins and 3 losses against me in fantasy football since 2020, but he has always been there to support me as a friend. Every year, I make a pilgrimage to his home in San Diego, where he treats me to the bottomless mimosa bar at Duck Dive. One day, I’ll succeed in getting him to move back to Sacramento, but for now, he remains my best friend — and now, my best man.

Elizabeth Sias

Bridesmaid

We met freshman year at Colorado Christian University during freshman retreat; it was nighttime, and we both happened to sit on these giant rocking chairs by a fire pit. We had no idea who we were, but we made plans to wake up at 6 am for a mountain hike (me waking up THAT early?!?)...and we did just that! During my time abroad, she texted me asking to be roommates for my junior year (her senior year..she graduated early), and we texted that whole summer while I was away! We would take late-night drives blasting our hardcore music for hours each week to get out and about, or even random drives around town just for the sake of "a drive". We were direct roommates that year, and there are not enough words to express our time together...the laughs, cries, and special moments we have shared together. I have enjoyed flying out to Texas to either surprise her or for big milestones in her life! As a new mamma of 2, what a blessing it has been to watch her family grow from afar. I was blessed enough to be in her wedding in April of 2024!

Brisco Penman

Groomsman

Brisco and I were inseparable during middle and high school. Wherever you saw one of us, you’d see the other nearby, usually discussing football. We spent the entire summer after sophomore year building custom teams in a Madden franchise and spending consecutive days playing against each other. We would stop and talk during all of our passing periods. During junior year, we had Profe Harris with Myles. About 90% of the class was the three of us messing around, while the other 10% was spent trying to get each other to lose participation points for speaking English. Brisco and I probably would have earned A’s in the class if we hadn’t lost 15% of our grade because of our antics. Our bond carried through college as we attended Folsom Lake College together. Carpooling, coordinating our schedules to take the same classes, only to end up playing Battleship on our phones, and then going to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch primetime sports became common during those years. We helped each other with homework in the computer lab while constantly smack-talking one another. Brisco had me as his best man at his wedding, and I helped plan his bachelor party in Lake Tahoe. While the details of that trip remain redacted, I’ll never forget the texts about Brisco and the boat. Since then, he has been permanently traumatized by Soju. It was an incredible honor to stand beside him when he married the love of his life, and now I’m honored to have him standing beside me in mine.

Anreah Hulce

Bridesmaid

We briefly crossed paths freshman year of college at CCU in the Bellajoy club, then wound up being roommates our Junior and Senior year of college. We knew of each other, but it was not until Junior year that our friendship blossomed. We grew a strong bond at West Side Campus during our junior year with carpooling, dance parties, roommate dates alongside laughter and tears. She even opened up her home in Colorado Springs to me (as well as Elizabeth and Katie) throughout the years for weekend visits or family gatherings. She always made sure I was taken care of one way or another (as I did not drive back then and was not able to fly home often). In our senior year, we became direct roommates and continued our strong bond all throughout. We even had our weekly routine on Wednesdays, where we would grab breakfast bowls from the Cougar Den before class started, sit down and eat together, and catch up. I have flown out to celebrate her master's graduation and also for her wedding (which I was beyond honored to be apart of back in August of 2020). We have celebrated from afar in each other's lives, but each time we see each other, it is like we never were apart!

Marshall Taylor

Groomsman

From the very beginning, Marshall and I had the classic older brother–younger brother relationship. We fought over everything — sometimes it was arguments over the smallest details, other times it was actual fists flying. No matter what, we always seemed to be against each other. But like most brothers, we grew up and matured together. During my first two years of high school, it meant a lot knowing I had him there to support me. When he left for college in Reno, it was a difficult adjustment for me. Still, whenever he came home or I went to visit him, I truly cherished those moments. As we’ve gotten older, I’ve watched Marshall continue to push me toward becoming successful. He has always seen greatness in me, even during the times when I couldn’t see it in myself. No matter what, he kept encouraging me to be better. Now, as I’m getting married and being recognized as a rising star in my career, I know Marshall saw this future for me long before I did, and I know he’s proud to see it becoming reality. I’ll continue pushing myself throughout life because I know I’ll always have his support behind me.

Emily Hector

Bridesmaid

My childhood best friend from the 1st grade at Rescue Elementary. We became friends by mistake...we thought we were two totally different people when I rolled up to her house for my first sleepover. Ops! Thankfully, we were willing to figure out "who this other girl was" that evening. Since then, we have been glued to the hip, and we did everything together. I cannot count the number of hours we spent at each other's homes, extending our sleepovers whenever we could. Emily's mom, Lisa, would take us to the Sunrise Mall to get photos taken before school started. Those are so much fun to look back on now! We were known for using our imaginations, like playing mermaids at every pool we saw, Barbies, Bratz, Littlest Pet shop, horses...it goes on! Often, we would extend our sleepovers to a few nights just because we could! Also, birthday parties were our jam! Our families would both throw these amazing parties for us...even in recent years, we are down for a good birthday party! I have fond memories of our childhood together. I have loved seeing Emily grow into who she is today and how we are still best friends! She is a jack of all trades. I enjoy learning about whatever new hobby she has picked up!

Tony Guzzetta

Groomsman

Tony was my first friend after I moved from Elk Grove to Rancho Murieta. As the new kid at school who didn’t know anyone, Tony quickly became my rival. It wasn’t until some encouragement — and maybe a little collusion — from our parents that we started hanging out and eventually became close friends. Growing up only five minutes away from each other in Rancho Murieta, we spent countless weekends sleeping over at each other’s houses. Like most kids our age, we bonded over dinosaurs and Star Wars. Over the years, our families became part of each other’s lives as well. Tony invited me to the Sonoma drag races, and my family brought him along on a trip to Hawaii. Even though we attended different schools, we always stayed close. We went to the Thursday night premieres of Jurassic World and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and once we both got Xbox Ones, we spent countless nights playing Overwatch together. Like any friendship that spans two decades, ours has had its rocky moments, but we have always found our way back to being friends. Life has now led Tony to his next chapter as a father, and I’m honored to have him standing beside me as a groomsman while I take my own next step into marriage.

Laura Lema

Bridesmaid

Meet my birthday twin! You will often hear me call her by her maiden name, Schumann, as that is what I tend to call her. We met in 4th grade during AWANAS, and I was the "loud" one, and she was the "quiet" one. We both finished the AWANA program all the way through high school, and we both were awarded the highest award! That was such a special moment for us to share. We were AWANA Sparks leaders together during high school, which was held once a week, and we even did children's church for about a year. A major key point of our friendship is, and always will be, the Marvel Universe. We have been fans since the Marvel Universe was starting all those years ago; we try to see them all in theaters together, and if we were not able to, you bet we were texting about it. Our love for Loki still stands strong. There have been 3 times her car battery died at the end of my driveway, as we can sit and talk about it all...and Marvel. I have enjoyed seeing Schumann become the lady she is today...now a mamma of 1, and seeing her go through this new journey in her life! I was honored to be in her wedding in March 2023!

Ryan Manriquez

Groomsman

Ryan — also known as the President of the unofficial FLC Uno Club — came into my life thanks to Myles introducing us during lunch at Folsom Lake College. What started as a few casual games of Harry Potter and Simpsons Uno quickly turned into daily lunches spent battling across the Uno table with the same crew that now makes up a good portion of my groomsmen party. Even as Ryan went on to accomplish incredible things at both UC Davis and UC Berkeley, we still found time for the important traditions: Oz Korean BBQ dinners and spending Sundays watching football in his room at Davis. While Ryan has absolutely terrorized our fantasy football league over the years, one moment will forever live in infamy — the 2024–25 season finale, when he crushed me in glorious fashion during the final primetime game of the season. I still haven’t emotionally recovered from what Zach Ertz did to me that night. Beyond fantasy football victories and Uno domination, Ryan is someone who genuinely makes the world better. Watching him succeed — all the way to his CNN appearance — has been incredible, and I’ve loved getting to cheer him on every step of the way. Even though Ryan is technically the newest friendship among my groomsmen, it’s hard to imagine this group without him. And fittingly for the founder of the Uno club, I know this friendship still has plenty of “Wild” cards left to play.

Katelin Williams

Bridesmaid

We officially met our Junior year at West Side Campus at CCU as roommates, and became roommates our Senior year as well. We were in Bellajoy, then ran it together for our Senior year; running a club requires a lot of time to plan our meetings and events (good thing we liked each other!). We went on many adventures together, like driving around listening to Taylor Swift (Reputation was probably the most listened to album), going to different Colorado mountain towns, Santiago's (a literal staple for us), shopping together, and whatever else we had to do. We practically did everything together and continued the dance parties each Friday night. Our inside jokes were on fire, and all we did was come up with inside jokes to the point where it became a second language for us. Katie is the one always throwing the jokes for a good laugh! When she got engaged, I was able to help her plan her wedding, and I got to be apart of that amazing experience with her back in July 2019. We spent a lot of time on campus working on homework, then went home to watch our favorite shows together. She has opened her home to me for my visits out to Texas in recent years, and those visits are never long enough! She is a NEW mamma to 1, so seeing her transition into motherhood has been a joy!

Jeffrey Beckstaiger

Groomsman

Jeff and I were part of the same social circles after he returned to Rancho Murieta from Texas, but we rarely had the opportunity to build a close friendship at the time. It wasn’t until we attended Folsom Lake College together that we truly got to know each other, and as we continued through adulthood, our friendship steadily grew stronger. Although he eventually moved from Folsom to Reno, we made a point to stay in touch this time around. Now, our routine includes weekly decompression sessions after watching the latest episodes of Invincible or heated debates over the superior starter Pokémon. When Jeff hosted our 2024 Fantasy Football Draft Party at his house in Reno, it gave me an even greater opportunity to learn more about him, building another layer of love and respect in our friendship. Jeff then graciously hosted the 2025 Fantasy Football Draft Party at his parents’ house in Rancho Murieta, where we celebrated another year of friendship alongside our friends. At Jeff’s poker nights, we always have an incredible time, even if I usually serve as the sacrifice for all the terrible cards that get dealt. Jeff’s wedding is arriving just as quickly as mine, and I’m excited that we are taking these major steps in our lives at the same time. I’m especially grateful to have the opportunity to stand beside him as one of his groomsmen.

Abigail Gonzales

Bridesmaid

We met in 7th grade at Pleasant Grove Middle School and we had discovered that we lived a few doors down from each other! We took the bus every day, which was always an adventure in itself with Abby. We were always the last stop on the bus home, so we had to get creative with that time spent on the bus. We were weird enough to come up with a literal "calling card" that we would screech every night at 6pm to each other...Abby's "Cacahhh cacahhhh" Mine "Hoot hoot hooootttttt" (sorry to our family and neighbors!). We created the "C and A club" and would take walks around our neighborhood together and hang out at her house. When we were neighbors, we became like sisters since one of us was always at each other's home at any given time. In high school, we did Ponderosa FFA together for 4 years and competed in our local fair with Abby and her sheep and me with my goats, and we would walk around the fair riding rides that whole weekend (we both stayed on site from Thursday to Sunday). I always thought I was outgoing, but Abby has me beat! She is beyond outgoing, willing to make new friends and to joke around, and not afraid to be herself. I love laughing with her, and she has been more than willing to help me with some of my recent projects, I have taken on to which I so appreciate her help!

Davis Elgin

Groomsman

Davis and I became friends in elementary school through the many sports that brought us together as teammates—a theme that has defined our friendship ever since. We started on the same Little League baseball team and the same elementary school basketball team. Davis’s father even gave me the nickname “Big Man,” a name he still calls me to this day. Our journey as teammates continued into high school, where we both played on the PGHS football team. Over the years, our friendship evolved from teammates on the field to lifelong friends off of it. Whether it’s waking up at 2 a.m. for burritos at Rigoberto’s or spending time at Duck Dive whenever I visit San Diego, Davis has always been someone I can count on for great memories and even better adventures. He also introduced me to the legendary Duck Dive mimosas—which, for the record, have knocked me out three separate times. In the past, we were teammates on the same teams. Now, Davis will be joining my team once again—this time as one of my groomsmen.
