Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us.

Ashley Palski

Maid of Honor

My parents asked Jay and I if we wanted a brother or sister. I said sister and Jay said brother. I was winning until Kyle came along.

Jay Muller

Best Man

Kyle was just a pup when we first met. Sure he was tall, handsome, and strong as an ox. But he was also 19. Carley had just ditched her plans to move back to LA and instead stay in State College... Who was this guy?! We then shared brews and laughs and Kyle held strong during big bro's opening interview. Little did I know at that moment I had just met one of the coolest dudes on planet earth - an absolute legend and now brother of my own.

Bridesmaid

I first met Carley when visiting Kyle at Penn State when he was a freshman. When she and her teammates arrived she was proudly carrying a bottle of tequila and limes as her beverage of choice which I thought was a bold move. Fast forward to now and she asked me to take a tequila shot (no chaser) to join the bridal party squad and we’re sisters!

Groomsman

I started dating Ashley, Carley's sister, around the same time Carley started dating Kyle. A few months later, we traveled out to State College to visit them. As a Penn State alum myself, I was excited to get to know Carley and her new boyfriend better, and of course just to revisit the town. Ashley, Carley, and I were at one of the Waffle Shops in town eating breakfast the first morning, and Carley was just gushing about her new boyfriend. Super hot, really nice, cares a lot for her, did I mention super hot? A little bit later we're walking back to the house we were staying in for the weekend, where we were finally going to meet this super hot Kyle guy. Carley says we're getting close, and as I look ahead, out of one of the houses walks Adonis personified. Six foot forever, shirt off revealing chiseled 8-pack abs and broad shoulders, jawline that could cut glass, twinkle in the eye, tanned skin barely containing muscular arms and chest. As he ran a hand through his perfectly coiffed hair and cracked a subtle smile that revealed the hint of dimples even I got butterflies. Anyway, we walked past that guy into the next house where we met Kyle.

Bridesmaid

I met Carley through her brother, Jay. I remember our first meeting at Tacolicious, we instantly connected over our love of margaritas and making fun of her brother 😉. We cemented our bond while driving for 16 hours to Colorado where we learned of our affinity for belting out 90s music. I’m so lucky to be gaining a sister and honored to be there to share on this special day!

Groomsman

I first met Kyle at Lorraine’s college graduation when Kyle was finishing high school. I had met the rest of Lorraine family through volleyball and it hardly surprised me that they had a seven foot Slenderman son as well. And here I was thinking my fiancé was tall! I am so glad I got to meet Kyle in those high school days so I could watch his transformation into the smart, caring, dedicated human being that he is today. Congrats brother!

Bridesmaid

Carley and I met serendipitously at Happy Valley Brewing Co. in State College during her short stint as a waitress. After a rather odd interaction of serving my client, recruiter and I, the fates aligned about six months later when Carley joined our team at TEKsystems! While Carley may not have been cut out for waitressing (or making hot tea for grumpy old lady customers and their weird mentee-looking, suit wearing, underlings) she surely found her calling as a professional IT recruiter… And I gained the best work partner and very best friend a girl could ask for!☺️

I suppose it happened similar to most relationships… my wife informed me that Carley and Kyle would be staying at our home a few years back, and naturally, I obliged. One afternoon after a TEK happy hour, Carley and Kyle showed up at my house. Carley was great, Kyle on the other hand, was not. After an extremely short introduction, Kyle ran up to the bathroom and expelled what I assume was the tray of tequila shots he consumed at the happy hour. Long story short, Kyle rallied, came to a local dive bar with us, and proceeded to order (and demolish) a seafood stew within an hour of meeting him, vomiting, and rallying. It was at that moment, I knew it was the start of something special… our friendship.

Erin Ginther

Bridesmaid

I met Carley when my family moved from PA to CA. I was in 3rd grade when we moved and Carley and I quickly became the best of friends. We did many things together including sleepovers, sports, junior lifeguard camp, and of course celebrating our birthdays together. It felt like we were inseparable until my family moved back to PA. I still remember all the visits Carley made to PA. My favorite memories include playing in the snow together and dancing in the thunderstorms. Carley and I have remained friends over the years because no matter the distance, we can’t be kept apart.

Taylor Krause

Bridesmaid

When Carley and I first met at Penn State all I knew of her was that she liked watching Sex and the City while being cozy under her boujee duvet comforter. The summer heading into our sophomore year allowed us to get closer-bonding through Starbucks and Stat 100 “cheat sheets”. The rest is history. Carley is one of my best friends and I am so grateful that Penn State brought us together. From 720 West Foster couch nights, spying on Laura’s first date, running laps around the top of Rec Hall for missing our serves, skipping dinner for Cold Stone, and the release of Fudge Girl, I wouldn’t want to do college with anyone else. I look forward to see what our future has to bring and I can’t wait to celebrate you and the boy who rips his pants partying at weddings take the next step!!! Hoping he’s consistent.

Megan (Courtney) Lush

Bridesmaid

Carley and I became teammates and friends at Penn State. This Southern California Girl who became my college roommate and quickly one of my best friends. 720 West Foster, LET ME HEAR YOU!! Living with someone for 2 years really tells you a lot about them. it told me we have a mutual love for quite a few things other than volleyball. I’m pretty sure we went an entire summer without changing the channel from HGTV. Often you hear of couples and a friend tagging along as a “third wheel,” well, that was my husband, Mitch! We have been through a lot together, talked a lot about so many things, and I can’t imagine going through this life without you. You have been truly a great friend through the roughest parts of my life. After graduating from Penn State, she stayed close while soon finding a job in Harrisburg and now is heading out to Colorado to start the rest of her life with Kyle. Carley, Carl, and Fudgegirl, all of you inspire me to be brave, bold, but most importantly, fearless when it comes to following my heart.

Carolyn Massey

Bridesmaid

I met Carley before either of us could have any say in the matter, because we were 3. We were on the same AYSO soccer team, The Rosebuds, which at 3, is hardly soccer. Thankfully, our friendship was fortified by all of the fun that we had together off of the field, and have been best friends ever since.

Laura Van Wyk

Bridesmaid

Carley and I met when she got stuck with me as a roommate freshman year. I say stuck as she promptly moved out after the Fall semester. We will save the story as to why she moved out and what happened after for another day though 💩. Carley grew to be one of my best friends over our 4 years at Penn State together. Together we struggled through preseason, shared resentment for prowler, appreciated Ashley’s “lost driver's license”, evaded Taylor’s pink eye, and enjoyed taking fudge from strangers on Beaver Ave. As a college friend, I got to see Carley and Kyle’s relationship blossom from the beginning. You may think Carley going for a younger man was scandalous enough, however, that was quickly exceeded when Carley and Kyle both were patient zero of the Penn State Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease outbreak. Carley sure knows how to keep things interesting! We all knew Carley and Kyle’s relationship was something special when Carley decided to stick around State College, a place we were all certain she would be leaving as soon as she could (she must have really loved him, huh?). While our roommateship didn’t last very long, our friendship has stayed strong no matter the distance (and contrary to what others may say, she moved to Colorado to be closer to me)! I am beyond lucky to stand next to Carley as she marries the love of her life! Carley and Kyle, I love you both!
