Emily & Joshua

Both raised in Mapleton, MN, Emily and Josh crossed paths for years (at the curling club, in Sheely’s class, and through Mariah & Jared, Emily’s childhood friend and Josh’s now sister-in-law and brother). Their story officially began in August 2021 at Mariah and Jared’s wedding. With Emily in Duluth and Josh in Fargo, their relationship grew through long phone calls, weekend visits, and many miles on the road. They planned trips and dreamed of the future which started with a trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks in Dec. 2022. Emily made the move to Fargo in June 2023, and the adventures continued. From driving to see family or to support Josh's curling career, they made the most of their time together. In June 2024, they took their first international trip to Banff, Canada-a trip on both their bucket lists. That fall, the morning after Josh competed in the North American Curling Club Championship in Colorado, he proposed at Lookout Mountain-making it a trip they’ll never forget!
