What exactly is a Weddingaversary?
Answer
So glad you asked! It's a wedding that takes place exactly one year after you get married! Hey, surprise, wegot married in 2021! Super small and chill here in Los Angeles with our parents. And then exactly one year later, we want to celebrate with all of you, just like we'd planned!

So... Why Philadelphia?
Answer
Philly felt like a good middle ground for most of our families who will be coming from DC and NY, respectively. It’s a destination-ish wedding! We’d love if you would make a trip out of it and spend the weekend with us. You totally deserve a getaway. Plus, it gives us a little more time to see all you wonderful people who we love but live oh so far away (definitely your fault, not ours -- have you considered moving to LA? It's still like 80 degrees here, just saying). The wedding will be finished early enough on Sunday that you’ll still be able to make the drive back!

We're staying at the Best Western Plus Concordville, and there are instructions for getting a discounted room in the Travel section, but there are several other hotels in the area! I have food issues. What should I do?

I FEEL YOUR PAIN. Reach out to us and we'll make sure you have something to eat. Rest easy -- there will be normal people food in addition to Carlen food. But definitely also Carlen food. And mac & cheese. Everything's going to be family style, so if you do have specific issues or allergies, just reach out to us and we'll make sure you get taken care of!

Fun fact: our website makes way more sense if you watch the movie True Romance! Unless you’re like easily turned off by adorable love stories, clever dialog, or excessive violence. In which case... yes. Carlen made it. And she is a little odd. So that follows. Just be at the places at the times and smile and nod at the rest.
