Since Jacksonville is a small airport it may not fit all your flying needs. Another option would be to fly into Orlando airport since most flights into this airport are direct and cheaper. However, you will need a rental car as the drive from this airport to Jacksonville can be 2-2.5 hours.

During your stay in Jacksonville you may want to consider getting a rental car if you are here for a longer stay so you can explore the amazing but large city. However, ubers are also very accessible everywhere you go here so that is a great option too.
