Things To Do
Jacksonville Beach
Whether it is for sunrise, sunset or to soak up some sun, Jacksonville beach is a great place for a long walk or even some relaxation before or after the wedding! Some of our favorite things include: walking along the pier, renting bikes, getting some lunch at Grom or Angie's subs and going to lynches irish pub to watch a game.
Beaches Town Center
This is another great location to visit if you want some good local shopping, dining, a good coffee shop or even some time at the beach. Some of our favorite places in this location are: Southern Grounds coffee shop, Lemon Bar, The Local, Mezza Luna and Poe's Tavern.
Downtown Jax
There are so many great spots to visit downtown. Some of our favorite neighborhoods include; 5 Points, Riverside, San Marco, Avondale and the Riverwalk. This is a great places to visit if you want some coffee, hit a local brewery, enjoy the nigh life or eat some great food. Some of our favorite places include the downtown Riverwalk, Sweet theory bakery, Biscotti's, River and Post, Hoptinger rooftop, and Ruby beach brewing. Feel free to ask us for other recommendations as the area is huge :)
St Johns Town Center
With over 160 stores, the town center is the best place to go if you want to do some shopping or enjoy some good food. It is an upscale super-regional open-air mall with every store you can imagine. Some of our favorite food stops include; Hopdoddy Burger Bar, Midtown Table, Prati Italia, and True Food Kitchen. Lastly, if you need a quick lunch, CAVA is our all time fave :)
Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach
If you have time, we highly encourage you to checkout Amelia Island. This is one of our favorite day trips as it is only an hour outside of Jacksonville. From the beaches to the downtown area there is so much to do. Some of our favorites include; the Sunday market, shopping, boat tours, and Timoti's Seafood Shak.
St. Augustine
If you are in town for a couple days we encourage you to go visit one of the oldest and most historical cities in the U.S. St. Augustine is only 45 minutes outside of Jacksonville and it is a perfect spot to have a day trip. With amazing tours, shops and awesome food!
Argyle Restaurant
If you are looking for a place that has great food, great drinks and a even better patio, this is the place. We have enjoyed some of our favorite meals here together. Some of the must try items are the Parker rolls, Spicy Ahi Tuna, and the steaks!
Palm Valley Fish Camp
If you are looking for some good seafood, try one of our favorite restaurants in Jacksonville. It is a perfect spot for a nice meal and drink on there beautiful patio along the water!
Parlor Doughnuts
If you know anything about Carleigh, then you know she LOVES donuts! Visit the couples favorite donut shop! - The best one is the honey glazed ;)
