Carl & Sue first met in person in early March 2009 when Carl went to St. Catherine University to drop off his Master's in Theology thesis entitled "The Spiritual & Pastoral Needs of Nurses" (Sue thought it might be of interest to read and perhaps share his work with her student nurses at St. Kate's). However, they actually "met" online 6 months prior to the March meeting as Sue faithfully read Carl's daily updates on the Daily Kos website about the contested Minnesota Senate election between Al Franken and Norm Coleman. During one of his online posts, Carl mentioned the title of his M.Th thesis, so Sue emailed him her request to read it. When she returned his thesis at the end of March 2009, their relationship continued to flourish for another 16 years!! Needless to say, Carl & Sue have finally decided that it's the right time to make their relationship "official"...you don't want to rush into these kind of things, don't cha know! ;-) Carl & Sue are so excited to share their Winter Solstice wedding celebration with their dearest friends and family, and look forward with great anticipation to seeing you in the Rosemary McNeely Conservatory Sunken Garden on December 21st to celebrate!
