What safety precautions are in place?

Answer

In response to ongoing issues with the COVID-19 pandemic we are keeping our wedding and bridal party small. Hand sanitizer will be available to all guests. Regardless of vaccination status you may wear a facial covering 😷 to keep yourself & others safe but masks are not a requirement. It is each individual’s personal choice to do what they feel is best. Feel free to offer fist bumps 🤜🏼🤛🏾 in lieu of handshakes or hugs. We will do our best to honor your personal space & safety preferences!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We absolutely love our children but unfortunately we regret not being able to accommodate little ones outside of those participating in the ceremony due to budget and space. We love you and hope this does not prevent you from sharing in our special day. We really want everyone to enjoy the celebration so we thank you for understanding this is an ADULTS ONLY event.

Can I bring a date?

Plus ones are welcome but please include them in your RSVP 💌 so we have an accurate headcount.

What’s the attire?

Answer

We are not asking guests to wear gowns and tuxedos! Sunday best or business/office attire is sufficient.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the wedding venue 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony so you have time to greet others and be seated. No one will be allowed to be seated within 5-10 minutes of the start of the wedding. The ceremony will begin on time ⏰!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking 🅿️ and if needed golf cart shuttles will be provided to eliminate guests walking from the upper lots.

Cellphone Etiquette… 🤳🏾?

We would like for everyone to be present & enjoy being in the moment. We invite you to UNPLUG during the ceremony to allow our photographer the opportunity to catch those special moments without interference. We are providing a hashtag to be used for social media but please, please wait to post! Thanks

Will there be travel from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are being held at the same location. Once you arrive 🗺 for the wedding please plan to remain ⚓️ on the grounds after the ceremony for pictures and the celebration to follow.

Will there be a sit down dinner following the ceremony?

Answer

There will be plenty of food but the couple would like to spend time in fellowship with their guests and have decided against a traditional reception with a formal sit down dinner. A variety of hors d'oeuvres/appetizers will be offered so join us in experiencing tastes around the world 🌎!

What’s on the menu? What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

There will be a variety of food options including vegetarian, pescatarian & vegan but we want to ensure everyone has something they can enjoy. Please provide any dietary needs 🚫 when you RSVP online or via mail.

Can I BYOB?

Answer

Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed according to the venue staff and we will not have a “Cash Bar”. We will have a celebratory champagne 🥂 toast during the reception and there will be plenty of nonalcoholic options. We are not encouraging nor condoning over indulging by any means. Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with The Spirit (not spirits). So please be responsible, respectful, and govern yourselves accordingly.
