Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The deadline for submitting your RSVP is July 31, 2023. After this date, we will assume you will unfortunately not be able to attend our wedding.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have provided some options under the "Travel & Lodging" section. However, please do not feel limited by those options - we recommend you stay anywhere in Florence that feels like the most convenient and best option for you! For reference, we will be staying at an Airbnb. Our address is: Via dell'Ariento, 18

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

This is a private and intimate event with close friends/family of the bride and groom. Please know that we are restricting attendance to only those on the RSVP form. The form will display all invited attendees by name for your family or group.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is an ADULT ONLY affair. We hope you take this opportunity to have a fun night out :)!

Question

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and reception are outdoors, weather permitting. After party to follow indoors.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged. We want you to be present and share our special moment with us, so during the ceremony we would kindly ask that you put away any phones or cameras until after the ceremony. During the aperitif, dinner & dancing get those camera's out and go wild! Our photographers will take a lot of pictures which we will also share with you!

Question

Whom should I call with questions?

Answer

Please email the bride and groom at carladeborahsuarez@gmail.com or tazaasif@outlook.com. You can also contact our wedding planner, Roberta Pompeo at info@thedifferenttwins.com - she will be able to help you with any questions you might have and she is a native of Florence!

Question

Do I need a passport to travel to Italy?

Answer

Please make sure your passport is current. If you have less than 120 days on your passport from your departure date, you will need a new passport.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The schedule of events page contains up-to-date info for the start time of each event. The main events (Ceremony and Reception) are on Saturday. The other events are optional. Please RSVP if you will be in attendance or not for each event.

Question

What is the currency in Italy?

Answer

The currency in Italy is Euro. Below is some helpful information. 1). Call you bank and credit card companies before your departure letting them know you will be overseas. 2). We recommend withdrawing money from an ATM instead of exchanging USD to EUR at a currency exchange. If you ask your bank about sister banking institutions in particular countries to withdraw money from an ATM, most likely your fees will be less than the currency exchange stores or kiosks.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please inform us about your dietary restrictions as soon as possible! We will do our best to accommodate you.

Question

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

Ladies, block heels or flats might be more comfortable as we will be spending time on a gravel & grass area for the aperitif and reception. We highly recommend staying away from stilettos or any uncomfortable shoes.

Question

Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories and creams are a no-go!

Question

Is there WIFI at the venue?

Answer

Yes, WIFI will be available.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie. We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us in their very best! Please no white or cream clothing or jeans!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not organize transportation to or from the venue. Taxis are bountiful in Florence.
