April 2019 - Not our first picture, but we met for the first time at CrossFit Torva in Carrollton, Texas. Carla was coaching a class Christiaan came to and continued to come... every time she coached.
June 2019 - This was our first picture together. Our friends invited us to a rave, and we both got to experience that for the first time.
December 2019 - Our first Christmas and the picture we used to announce our relationship on social media.
January 2020 - Our first trip together we decided to go to Key West. Lots of memories made, especially at the Mambo Bar. This is the first time Carla said "I love you."
June 2020 - When Christiaan first asked me out, he wanted to take me sky diving. What a crazy way to start dating! We ended up postponing this date and got to do it in the middle of the pandemic.
October 2020 - Celebrating Carla's 30th birthday at Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos! This is a picture with our friends (Michael, Tory, Katie, & Collin) taking a sunset cruise to The Arc.
August 2020 - Carla's first time visiting Christiaan's family in Atlanta.
March 2021 - First time moving into a house together in Plano, Texas.
Septemeber 2021 - First time Christiaan saw Pitbull, and now he's obsessed. We had our Texas family with us, the Garciamendez.
November 2021 - If you know my family, we do the Turkey Trot every year. This was the first time Christiaan joined in with the Rodriguez's.
December 2021 - Christiaan proposed in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico (Carla's favorite city). He had the help of Maribel and Bernie, who captured the moment.
