To allow all guests to relax and enjoy our celebration, we have chosen to make our special day for adults only. We thank you for understanding.
Normal formal wedding attire please. It will not be themed, however, the venue has a Renaissance/medieval flair if you would like to incorporate that into your attire.
Yes. Weather permitting, we will have the ceremony in open air. The cocktail hour will be in a covered space outside, and the reception will be indoors.
There is a short pathway from the parking lot to the ceremony field, and from the ceremony to the cocktail/reception. For those choosing to wear heels, please keep in mind that the ceremony grounds will be on grass. There will be motorized assistance for those with mobility issues.
Yes - please see the travel section for more details.
There is a room block at the Holiday Inn Express - Mount Arlington, which has all of the comforts and amenities that you would expect from a modern day hotel. There will be a shuttle bus before and after the wedding, but not after the after party. This is where the bride and groom will be staying. The camp cabins are included in the venue rental, whether we use them or not.
Please know ahead of time that these are VERY rustic cabins. However, they do include a window air conditioner and some have a mini fridge. None of the cabins include running water, so there is a short walk to communal toilet and showers. These cabins do not come with any bedsheets or pillows, so please bring your own or a sleeping bag. Cabins are pet friendly, but please let us know ahead of time if you plan to bring your fur baby. You can view photos of each cabin at the link below: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Z4noR_1IwprAWclZ_H9nE2aueg22fySy
Please view the map and cabin descriptions here: https://www.camp-sacajawea.com/cabins-and-sleeping Our wedding reception hall is marked as "Dragon Claw Inn".
