AIRPORTS
Bishop is the closest, most reliable airport to fly into, but only connects to Denver, San Francisco and LAX at this time. Other options include Las Vegas (5 hour drive), LAX (5 hour drive) and Reno (3.5 hour drive).
LODGING
As for places to stay, we recommend checking out AirBnB or VRBO options sooner rather than later. October is shoulder season up here, so prices should be somewhat more reasonable, but we still advise booking in advance. Note: Bishop is located 45 minutes away from Mammoth Lakes and definitely offers some cheaper options for hotels or AirBnB.
Car camping is always an option for those that are up for it! We've got lots of great public lands in the area, with the finest views to boot!
