If you've got extra time to stay for longer -- you're in luck! Fall is a beautiful time in the Eastern Sierras. HIKING There are lots of fantastic day hikes in the area. Out of Bishop, you can hike out of South Lake, Lake Sabrina or North Lake trailheads and find beautiful alpine lakes. Out of Mammoth, you can hike up to the Mammoth Crest or up to Duck Pass. These hikes range from 5-12 miles. Want something shorter? You can hike 1-2 miles around Convict Lake (15 minutes south of Mammoth) or head north and check out Mono Lake. If you want more ideas, just give one of us a call. HISTORY Check out the LAWS town and museum near Bishop or consider driving out to the ghost town of Bodie.
