Hi everyone! I’m Janet Carina’s cousin though honestly, we’ve always been more like sisters . We grew up side by side, often under the loving care of my great-grandma, her grandma, sharing endless laughter, adventures, and more memories than I can count. One of my favorite memories with Carina was when we spent two weeks together last year in the Dominican Republic at our family home, and then when we took our first solo girls trip to punta cana for her birthday to celebrate. From the very first time I met Danny at one of our family holiday parties, I knew he was the one for her. He fit right in especially when he got up to dance, even if he didn’t quite have the moves down yet. Now he’s a total bachata pro, and I love dancing with him whenever we all go out. Some of my favorite times are the simple ones relaxing in Carina and Danny’s backyard, listening to music, chatting, and just soaking in the good energy. A little about me: I love traveling, yoga, and spending time in nature. I’m passionate about humanitarian work, and one of my dreams is to one day have a farm near a river growing all my own crops and food. Being Carina’s Maid of Honor is such a special honor, and I can’t wait to celebrate this beautiful new chapter in her and Danny’s love story!

My first impression of Daniel was that he seemed like the type of guy who goes with the flow and is really sincere. He isn't afraid to do new things, since I saw him learning how to dance bachata. In that moment I knew Carina chose the right guy.

Hello all - my name is Pete and I am honored to stand beside Danny as one of his best men. Our friendship dates back to kindergarten when we first met at the playground of Forrest Elementary School. We have been best friends ever since. From going to battle together playing sports, traveling the world and growing to become the men we are today, I couldn’t be more proud of him. I have always looked at Danny as a brother and it’s a privilege beyond words to be a part of Danny and Carina’s special day. Seeing how happy they are together is truly an inspiration and I am looking forward to this day filled with love, laughter and memories that will last a lifetime.

Hi everyone ☺️ Mizunay here!! I had the honor of meeting Carina at Penn State back in 2013. She had recently transferred and we met at a social event for our sorority where we then were granted the opportunity to go on line together. It was not an easy journey, but as we progressed through the process Carina and I become closer and closer. She very quickly showed me that she would be a sister that would be with me through thick and thin. Cari was already a vibrant light on her own, but when Danny came into her life, her light just radiated even more. Carina always had so much love to give and she openly gave it to Danny and Danny returned that love to her 10x over. From DR to yearly Friendsgivings, there are so many memories to share. For my wedding Carina stood behind me at the alter supporting me and I am so blessed to be doing the same for not only for her but for Danny as well ❤️

Hi, I’m Tom, initials T.O.M. Danny and I met fresh out of college at AxHELLon, yes, that Axelon, sitting on opposite sides of the floor until we eventually recruited him into the cool corner. It was really just a cubicle corner, but it became the vibe spot. From there it was smooth sailing, endless banter, me regularly smoking him in fantasy football, and the two of us roaming Wall Street and the Poconos like corporate hooligans. Somewhere in the middle of Danny cranking out punishment push-ups for fumbled deals, my friend Carina started describing a tall, handsome, Tarzan-haired guy from her gym named Danny. Knowing his affinity for Latinas, I had a pretty good feeling I knew exactly who she meant. I made the introduction to her gym crush, she knighted me El Cupido, and one SantaCon selfie later, the rest was history. I’m beyond hyped to be here celebrating these two!

We didn’t actually become friends until later in school, and then we spent years playing hockey and lacrosse together. Those days turned into a lifelong friendship. Hi everyone, I’m Sam! I met Carina at Penn State in 2013 when she joined our sorority. From day one, I knew she had a big, bold personality—and I immediately decided she was stuck with me for life as my little. Since then, we’ve lived together in Virginia, Jersey, Long Island, and Queens… basically, if you can name a place on the East Coast, we’ve probably had an apartment there. Carina is a total “yes person”—she says yes to new adventures, yes to fun, and she’s the most forgiving person I know (which has definitely worked in my favor). Even though she’s technically my little, she’s taught me so much, and I feel so lucky to stand beside her as a bridesmaid. I met Danny in 2019 when he drove out to Long Island just to meet me. From that very first day, I knew he was a keeper—and my kids love him almost as much as Carina does, which says it all.

I think my favorite memory of us is this one time way back when I was in a high school, I just broke up with my ex at the time & she immediately said “pack your bags, we’re going to a beach party” and that was one of my hardest break ups but she turned my mood around so quick. On top of that that same day we almost died because the waves knocked us out and lost our shades tops & all 🤣! But that was such a core memory for me. As for Danny since I met him we clicked! But after so many conversations, observations, seeing how he adores my cousin and treats her like the queen she is, I wouldn’t want anyone else marrying her! During the year we lived together, Danny quickly became like a brother. We spent many double date nights, hanging out and laughing. From there, our friendship only grew — from surviving work nights to celebrating life’s big moments side by side. Fast forward a few years, we both ended up in the same area again and Carina even helped me land my first job nearby. Fun fact: that’s the same job she was working at when she met Danny. I still remember her gushing about a “cute white boy” at work (yep, that would be Danny!). Who knew back then she was manifesting her future husband? Seeing their story come full circle has been the sweetest thing, and I’m so excited to celebrate the two of them finally saying I do! 💕

Somewhere along the way, I also created the legendary nickname DGar—by taking the first letter of his first name and the first three letters of his last name and mashing them together. From middle school through high school, hockey, our friend group, and of course DGar, turned into a friendship that’s lasted ever since.

My name is Dylan, I was graced with the pleasure of meeting Danny back in college at Monmouth University. Sophomore year we both moved in together in a house with a bunch of players on the lacrosse team and we instantly connected and bonded and became really close friends. Danny has always been such good vibes and no matter what was always down for whatever; from hitting the gym to going to party’s/bars or just kicking it at the house playing Xbox, we always were on the same page and really valued each others company. Our college roommates missed each other so much that we booked a spontaneous trip with our best friends and significant others. Hi, I’m Leyslye, my age doesn’t matter, and I’m a Pieces lol. I love to read and love being a sports mom. I have known Carina since 2009. We became friends towards the ending of the year, during our sophomore year. My favorite memory with Carina will always be the first time we met. We had a class together but never spoke to each other. Then she saw me sitting in the lunchroom and said “come, you are my friend now come sit with me”. I must have looked lonely, but I promise I’m just anti-social LOL. But I am so happy she did this because she has been one of my closest friends ever and is even my first borns (Syèllas) god mother! She has always been very loyal and will tell me if I’m wrong when I need to hear it. I also believe that it also comes back for circle. Because Carina has finally met her match in the sense that she found someone who loves her as much as she loves everyone but will also tell her when she’s wrong lol (Thanks Danny!). Also, if you know me, you know my kids are my everything. Hard to belive, but Danny met both of my girls very young, he was always so kind and made them feel special by giving them attention and trying to play with them.
