Cari and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. We’ve been through so many blessings and many tragedies. She’s been there for me whenever I’ve been down, and also when I’ve been up. She compliments the person I am and keeps me sane. We’ve been by each others sides since she was 19 and we had front porch talks lit by the street light for hours. If I had to go down memory lane and write about everything, I’d be pages deep. She balances my large personality with her common sense and caring nature. Cari has brought so much to my life that I never knew I was lacking, we have created such an unbreakable bond that I am so thankful however our friendship started. We’ve been roommates, we’ve been friends, but she is more of a sister than anything.

I’ve known Darien practically all my life. My earliest memories are from the pool just relaxing or competing. If it wasn’t swimming, we were riding bikes, playing basketball or gaming. I’ve grown up with D, I consider him blood and vice versa. I remember D’s dad throwing huge poker parties. There was always a routine, I say hello to the family and grab some food because Crystal could always throw down in the kitchen. Then we would grab some snacks and disappear. D and I would game for hours. Seeing D grow from a boy to a teenager with a god like singing voice, to a monster in the gym has been amazing. I look forward to seeing the new chapter he starts with his soon to be bride Cari. PS...I have yet to beat this man in a video game consecutively, one day my time will come! Love Davis

Cari has been my best friend for over TWO decades now -- it's pretty wild to think about! This girl has been one of the constants in my life. No matter what goes on in our crazy busy lives or how much time passes between phone calls, I love that we can truly depend on each other in life. I'm so honored to be a part of this beautiful time in Cari's life and I cannot wait to CELEBRATE Cari and Darien as they step into this next phase of their lives! My Favorite memory with Darien was when we went on our choir trip senior year and we ended up hanging out and becoming close friends. We knew each other from playing football together during our freshman year but we really didn't hang out. During this trip we got to know each other and we rode home together with Daisi in Betty Wytias's car and in that car we formed our group that would be called Black Odyssey. Who would of thought from one trip up in the mountains a life long brotherhood would develop. Love ya bro and congrats.

Cari and I met around the same time her and Darien met. So I have been lucky enough to watch their love blossom. Many fun memories we have all shared together from crazy Halloween parties to my first Broncos game!! Cari has always been the friend I knew I could open up to. The one I could let in. I dont have many of those people in my life so she means the world to me. Love you both so much

Id say some of my favorite memories was us all coming over to your parents crib to sing and play piano. Also just getting in it at the gym and call of duty, That tuesday night Karaoke at Noonans was always a blast and had me laughing and waiting until next time! Feels like its always the little things that count bro!

I’ve literally known Cari my whole life. Our dads were best friends and our families did everything together. Greg, Cari’s father, was even in the delivery room when I was born. After over 30 years of friendship, I couldn’t be prouder of Cari and the woman she has become. I always remember listening to the Eagles, Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffet or The Steve Miller Band; us running around a softball field or having a BBQ at one of our houses. We’ve been through a lot over the years and I am still amazed at Cari’s grace during time of tragedy. I am so excited for this next chapter of life. Cheers Cari & Darien!

My name Is Eddie G. I’m one of the weirder friends of Darien. We met through mutual friends while paint balling. Not long after we continued to bond through our online gaming group. Which is where most of our funny moments come from. But the most memorable memory of Darien is him shooting me directly between the eyes playing paintball soon after i was shot in the crotch. It wasn’t my best day but a damn good one for him. Much love!

Cari has been my friend for over 11 years. Through thick and thin Cari has always been there. My fondest memories with Cari involve pool side sunbathing while binge eating watermelon because I was 9 months pregnant. After my daughter was born we would sit on the couch and try and teach Little Julia the world. All the animal noises and what animal matched what noise. Moow, mooo, boockk boock. Little Julia tried so very hard and Auntie Cari never gave up. No matter how much time passes, no matter where I live in the world, I know that Cari will always be there with open loving arms. Saying Cari is my friend is an understatement, Cari is my sista from anotha mista!!! I love you Cari and I’m so honored to be part of your wedding party and share your special day with you.

Though our faces have changed our friendship has not. For as long as I have known Darien he has always been steadfast, paid meticulous attention to and taken care of things in his charge.
