The first time Chris met Kelsey was when she was touring the Golf Academy at Pebble Beach, where Chris was working at the time. They became friends and loved spending time together! Kelsey went back to school to finish her senior year at Florida Gulf Coast University and then returned to Pebble Beach to work full time at the Tournament Office and then later the Golf Academy. Once Kelsey returned, they started to spend more time together. The would play golf together, camping in Yosemite and lots of traveling around the state. Kelsey said yes to being Chris' girlfriend and the rest is history!

On February 27th, 2022, Chris knew he was going to propose to Kelsey! They were on a skiing trip in South Lake Tahoe. The snow-covered mountains and the lake in the background Chris knew it would be the perfect backdrop for the picture. They had a normal morning walking around Lake Tahoe and were heading to lunch with friends at Riva Grill right there on the lake. Kelsey and Chris were early so they took a walk down the lake shore. Chris stopped strategically to take a photo and with some help from a friendly snowman on the shore, Chris shoved his phone into the snowman’s head and hit record. He then got down on one knee and Kelsey said YES!! With their friends there to have lunch and celebrate the engaged couple, it was perfect!
