We wanted to avoid some of the drama and high expectations that can come along with being a wedding guest. We adopted a more laid back approach and would like our loved ones to have fun and not be stressed!
We will be heading to the White Mountains immediately after our weekend to spend a few days hiking. We are putting an extravagant honeymoon on hold for the time being.
Our theme is rustic, farm/barn so our dress code is definitely more relaxed than formal.
Between our two families, we have upwards of 30 children that we would love to include, however it is simply not possible for our venue. We have made 2 exceptions for nursing mothers. Otherwise, our venues will be adult only for Friday and Saturday. We are hopeful that everyone with children (both two and four-legged) will still be able to attend!
Unfortunately, our venue capacity is maxed out and we cannot increase our guest list at this time. Thank you for understanding! Later on in the process, if we receive declines, we may be able to reallocate spaces; please feel free to call us with such concerns!
After cocktail hour, everyone will mosey on down to the dance hall (on Overbrook property) for more appetizers/tapas style grazing! During this time, we will also have a special guest appearance by a taco food truck/ pop-up grill! Vegetarian options will be in abundance! Save room for the ice cream sundae bar, though!
Every single event in our wedding weekend is on the Overbrook property, so no shuffling required! But don't feel left out if you aren't local....Be sure to answer the "Where are you staying?" question in your RSVP; if you are reserving a room in a nearby hotel we will send a little treat your way!
