Question

How will you be handling COVID-19?

Answer

We will be following the guidelines set in place by the CDC, the state of Virginia, and our venue to ensure the safety of our guests. Please check out the COVID-19 page for more detailed information regarding all of the safety precautions we are taking. Do not hesitate to reach out directly (salyerscrainwedding@gmail.com) with any concerns or questions. Get ready for an awesome, fun, and safe event!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP using the card and envelope provided in the invitation suite no later than August 8th, 2020.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm. Guests should begin arriving at King Family Vineyards no sooner than 5:30pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies might wear a cocktail or long dress or dressy suit or jumpsuit. Gentleman might wear a suit or sport coat and slacks. The ceremony will take place outdoors and will likely be warm in mid-September, so plan to be comfortable!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have hotel room blocks for our guests at the Boar's Head Resort and Hampton Inn and Suites in Charlottesville. Please refer to the Accommodations page for more details.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking at King Family Vineyards for any guests who chose to drive themselves. There will also be transportation for guests to and from the hotels with rooms blocks.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There will be transportation to and from the Boar's Head Resort and Hampton Inn and Suites. Uber and Lyft are also fairly prevalent in the area. Please refer to the Accommodations page for more details.

Can I bring a date? Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we wish we could just say "the more the merrier", please note that any dates, guests, or children that can be accommodated will have been addressed on your invitation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please contact Cara directly at salyerscrainwedding@gmail.com with any food allergies that we will need to make our catering staff aware of.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not take any photos or videos during the ceremony. Don't worry our photographer is amazing and we will be happy to share her photos after the event. If you do take photos after the ceremony, use our hashtag #CrazyForCrain when you post them!
