To know Mike and Cara is to know a story that feels written in the stars. — and how it all began still feels like fate. In 2020, Cara moved to Norfolk, Virginia to pursue her career in Human Resources. It was the middle of COVID, but she took a leap of faith, leaving her hometown Springfield, PA. Around that time, Mike was doing the very same — moving from Upper Darby, PA to Norfolk to begin his military career as an aviation mechanic. Though their paths had crossed countless times back home (and in Bloomsburg!!!) it took moving five hours away for them to finally find each other. After meeting online, they quickly realized they shared the same hometown and many mutual friends. What started as a simple connection grew into something truly special. They moved in together soon after and began building a life filled with laughter, love, and adventures. Mike and Cara often say they were waiting for the right person — someone to show what true love, compassion, and unwavering support really meant. They found that in each other. Sometimes it's necessary to go a long distance out of the way in order to find what was meant for you all along.
