Best Man
Rico is the best friend of Kwame. They met during basic training for the US Army Reserves and have been boys ever since. Their bond grew even closer after having children as they both asked each other to be their daughter's God Fathers. They are very easy going and like to just chill out with the family, talk trash while playing the Xbox, or hang out at a bar or lounge. No matter the situation, they always show up and show out for each other. Kwame stood as the best man at Bobo's wedding, and now Bobo is happy to do the same.
Matron of Honor
Jasmine is the older cousin of Cara. Even though they are cousins, they were raised as sisters. They experienced each and every life journey together as they are only one year apart. Jasmine has always been there for Cara in each and every situation, and has literally never let her down. Cara looks up to her as her role model and loves watching their relationship grow with each experience. Jasmine was there on the night that Cara and Kwame met, and continues to be there for them on their love journey. She will serve as Cara's maid of honor, just as Cara was in her wedding. Cara could not imagine getting married without her big sister right by her side.
Groomsman
Sean is the older brother of Kwame. Sean has always been there for Kwame to support, teach, and guide him in the right direction. Sean has a charming smile and personality, and loves to spend time with his family, box, and train the youth in the community. It is only right for him to be there with his little brother on his special day.
Maid of Honor
Tonnisha is the best friend of Cara. They had a rocky start when they met in highschool as Cara has a mean resting face and was thought to be jealous of a friendship that Tonnisha had with a mutual friend. When the two got to know each other, they instantly became the best of friends. Cara often refers to Tonnisha as her "Ace" because Tonnisha is always there in the exact ways that Cara doesn't know that she needs her. Their friendship only grows with the years and they are blessed to have each other. Tonnisha is no longer a friend, she is forever embedded in the family. Tonnisha was there on the night that Kwame and Cara met, and will continue to be there for the couple for the rest of their days.
Groomsman
Rae’Kwon is the younger brother of Kwame. They often bond over sports that they both thrive in such as basketball and football. Rae’kwon is a hard working and chill high school junior who gracefully takes things as they come. There is no other person that Kwame would rather have to stand by his side.
Bridesmaid
Triana is the cousin of Cara. They are two weeks apart in age and grew up closely in the church together. They experience every sacrament together and this is the next one on their journey. Triana is funny, smart, and talented, and is always there for the couple. She was there on the night that they met and has been in support of them through their entire relationship. Cara is elated that Triana will also be there by her side on her big day.
Groomsman
Chandler is the older cousin of Cara. Even though they are cousins, they grew up as close siblings. Cara and Chandler have a special bond like no other, and he has developed a strong bond with Kwame as well. Chandler is hard working and charismatic, and is always down to party and support the couple in all of their endeavors. He was present on the night that the couple met and has been there ever since. Having Worldboss on Kwame's side is the recipe for an amazing day and a good time.
Bridesmaid
Asia is the older cousin of Cara. Although they grew up together, it wasn't until their later years that their bond grew to be strong and unbreakable. They have an understanding that sometimes doesn't even involve words. Asia is loyal, funny, smart, caring, and will do the very last thing for you. She was there on the day that the couple met and held no cut cards while getting to know Kwame. She is one of the biggest supporters of the couple together and as individuals. She is ready in a drop of a dime for the couple in any given moment. Cara would not be able to get through this experience without her.
Groomsman
Ryan is the little cousin of Cara. Even though they are cousins and are 5 years apart, Ryan was really Cara's first child. She always looked out for him and had snacks in her purse for when he got hungry. He is the reason why she is such a great mother to her other 3 children. Ryan is funny, smart, laid back, and chill. but is always there. He is always there to love and support the couple, and planned on being up there with the couple at the wedding before even being asked. Kwame and Cara wouldn't have it any other way.
Bridesmaid
Morgan is the little sister of Kwame. They are one year apart which allowed them to be close and experience a lot of things together. Morgan is funny, loyal, caring, and always there to support the couple and her nieces and nephew. She is there to lend a helping hand when needed and enjoys spending time with the family. Although it took a little while for her to open up, she and Cara ended up being as close as her and Kwame. Cara was ecstatic when Morgan agreed to be with her on her special day, and couldn't imagine doing it without her.
Ring Security
Kingston is the nephew of Kwame. He and his uncle Kwame have an especially unbreakable bond. Kingston is smart, caring, polite, courageous, fun loving, energetic, and handsome. He loves playing his Xbox. Bay blades, dancing, and spending time with his family. Kingston will be leading his little cousin KJ down the aisle as the head of the ring security.
Ring Security
Kwame Jr. is the son of Kwame and Cara. He is the second born and the only boy of the gang. He has an extremely charming smile and personality just like his father. KJ is kind, funny, energetic, happy, smart, and charming. He loves to jump off of all things, playing and following his big sister, dancing, nurturing and protecting his little sister, singing, cuddles with mommy, walks with Mimi, playing with his aunties, and spending quality time with his daddy. We can’t wait to see him strut down the aisle to give the ring to his daddy that he will present to his mommy.
Flower Girl
Caylee is the daughter of Cara and is the oldest of the gang. She was only a few months when she met Kwame and doesn’t know or imagine life without him. From the beginning she has bonded with Kwame as her father, as he bonded with her as his daughter. Caylee is a fun, loving, smart, beautiful, caring, bold, courageous, and God fearing first grader, who is the best big sister to her siblings. Caylee loves going to the park, dance parties, playing with her aunts and siblings, drawing, and going to the beach. She is ecstatic to lead her sister down the aisle as the flower girl to witness their parents’ union.
Flower Girl
Kehlani is the last member of the Ford Gang! She is the last piece to complete the family of 5. Kehlani is loving, smart, curious, and beautiful. She loves tummy time, laughing at her father’s singing, cuddles with mommy, and playing with her older brother and sister. We can’t wait to see her giggles and smiles at the wedding, and for her to witness the union of her parents.
