DIA is roughly a 2 hour drive to Vail and 2.5 hours to Camp Hale without traffic. Transportation options from the airport to Vail include rental cars or shuttle services, such as Summit Express, which are around $60-$75 per passenger. Please note that the drive up to the mountains in the dark can be difficult as there are steep up/down grades and sharp curves. Please plan your drive accordingly.
