Mountain Casual is what you would wear to a BBQ; jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sun dresses, flip-flops and tennis shoes. The Welcome Party on Friday evening will be outdoors on uneven terrain, with mulch and picnic tables. You may want to bring a light jacket as it will be chilly when the sun goes down. This is a very casual event! Forest Formal for the wedding and reception on Saturday is formal but not black tie. Suits, ties, and more formal jumpsuits or dresses are appropriate with footwear you are comfortable navigating through mulch, grass and cobblestone; ie flats, wedges or block heels. Our venue is literally in the forest!! It will be chilly in the evening so we recommend bringing a sweater or shawl.
Yes! Children are most welcome at all of our events. Depending on the number and ages of children attending will determine the accommodations that we will have available at the wedding. We will update this section as we have more information closer to our wedding date! Stay tuned!
In general the weather in June is in the low to mid 70’s during the day and 40’s-50’s at night. But, please keep in mind that the weather in the Sierras can be unpredictable and could prove to be very different in June of 2024! We will update this section as we get closer to our event with the weather forecast and any contingency plans should we need them!
Yes, we plan on having a shuttle or shuttles from the major lodging sites. We will update this section with shuttle schedules as we get closer to our event.
