Manhattan Beach is a 15-minute drive from LAX. We recommend LAX compared to Burbank and Ontario airports.

Travel Note

Transportation to and from Airport

Manhattan Beach is a small, walkable town. Unless you wish to explore Los Angeles, rental cars are not necessary. Uber/Lyft operates in the Manhattan Beach/Hermosa Beach area. To catch Lyft/Uber from LAX, you must either walk or take the LAXit shuttle from baggage claim to the rideshare pickup point. Please note, if you call an Uber/Lyft Black car, they will pick you up directly from baggage claim and you do not need to take the LAXit shuttle or walk to the rideshare pickup point.
