The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern
Not only did we have our first date here, but this is also the place where Tyler proposed ♥ Needless to say, this is one of our favorite places & is very special to us. If you are in town early and have time to grab a bite, they have amazing food and a perfect view of the Mississippi.
The Charmant Hotel
One of the coolest (and maybe the only) rooftop bars in the La Crosse area. It has the best atmosphere, great views of the city, and let's not forget about their speciality firewood pizza and mojitos! YUM!
Del's Bar
The BEST place to get a bloody mary! So many different options, I promise you won't be disappointed!
Grandad Bluff
Grandad's bluff is one of La Crosse's main attractions as it is well known for its scenic overlook of the entire city. Grandad's also offers many hiking trails, so depending on the weather, this could be a great afternoon activity for the entire family!
Howie’s on La Crosse
Yes, this is the place we named our sweet pup after. It's one of our favorites and we always make a visit when we stop home. While you're there, try the cheesecurds. They are the SO good!

Nothing goes better with a hot summer day than a large ice cream cone from the Pearl! This is the number 1 spot in La Crosse to get a sweet treat of ice cream or candy!
