Maid of Honor
I have known Haley since I was born! She is a dear friend who also happens to be my cousin. I have many fond memories of us playing together as kids. Our favorite game? "Rich girl, poor girl." (Haley was always the rich girl.) Now she is killing it in medical school and has the greenest thumb of anyone I know! Also, you should definitely follow her cat on Instagram. @ivyamongtheplants

Shannon and I were randomly seated next to each other in Concert Choir at UMKC when I was a freshman in college. I didn't know it then, but that was the start of a beautiful friendship! We were lucky to be great friends AND great roommates and lived together for 3 years! Shannon is an incredible singer and teacher and is currently getting a doctorate (holy moly) in Memphis!
Bridesmaid
Bethany and I went to UMKC together and became really good friends during our last year there. This is truly a case of better late than never! She is pretty much the only reason I survived my first year of real teaching. We are very different, but our personalities complement each other in the best ways! Bethany is an amazing music educator (and travel buddy!) and I love that I get to work with her!
Bridesmaid
Erin and I met at "back to school night" in 4th grade. I basically forced her to be my friend and I know now that was an amazing decision! Our friendship has seen us through so much--from talent show acts, to living on different continents, and to eventually both becoming teachers! Erin is an incredible Kindergarten teacher (not all superheroes wear capes!) and has such a heart for her students!
Bridesmaid
Hanna and I met in 5th grade and we've been friends ever since! We have seen each other through all of the awkward years of questionable fashion, hairstyles, etc. My most favorite thing about Hanna is our shared love of Pride & Prejudice. We have watched that movie together more times than I can remember. Mr. Darcy will always be our first love! Hanna is currently crushing law school at Notre Dame and will graduate this May!
Best Man
Matt and I met in 2014 at KC Running Company. We started out as running buddies, but then became fast friends as well. Matt and I have pounded the pavement together through many, many races. We share a drive (some might call it neurotic) that has caused us to do some crazy things like run marathons, get random tattoos, etc. In addition to all that, Matt is a fellow music snob (so we always have something to talk about).
Groomsman
Clint and I grew up together in our hometown of Oswego, Kansas. We were neighbors and had many adventures together. We played in a band together, got stuck in the woods, made silly videos about Cheez-Its, and spent many hours playing Mario Kart. Clint currently lives and works in Canada (eh?) where he doing amazing creative work. Though he's miles away, he's always in my heart.
Groomsman
Chris and I met at KC Running Company back in 2014. We would always chat it up during our group runs there. Chris is a reliable friend who is always down to do something fun. His knowledge of and enthusiasm about beer is truly unparalleled. I've learned a lot about it, even though I can't drink it (gluten-free problems). Even though no one is exactly sure what Chris does for a living, I'm glad that he takes time away from his top-secret government job to hang out with me.
Groomsman
Eli is one of Chloe's brothers (the older of the two). We met early on when Chloe and I started dating and he has always been super supportive of our relationship. He is one of our biggest cheerleaders! Eli is an amazing cyclist and we literally biked across an entire state together (and didn't die). He is also always one of the first people to give me "kudos" on Strava (cheerleader, remember?). Eli is about to start grad school at Emporia and has plans to become a therapist.
Groomsman
Simon is Chloe's other brother (the baby of the family). Even though Simon and I are 10 years apart in age (that hurts a little bit), we clicked from the start. He's a loyal friend with a great sense of humor. Simon loves to gang up with me and roast Chloe. Together, with our food allergies, we can make any meal into a real challenge for whoever's cooking. Simon is currently in college at Emporia studying math.
