We met when we were in first grade—sitting in the same classroom, playing on the same playground. We grew up in the same town, went to different colleges, and led separate lives. Our paths didn’t cross again until our late twenties, when we matched on a dating app. From our first conversation, we clicked instantly. We shared a love of travel, coffee, and animals, and soon realized we had a lot in common—including our childhood. After swapping stories, we remembered we’d actually gone to the same elementary school, even shared some of the same memories. It felt like fate had waited for the perfect moment to bring us together. A year later, during a trip we both had always dreamed of, he proposed—and it felt like our story had come full circle. Now, we’re excited to begin this next chapter of our lives together and are so grateful to have all of you—our friends and family—here to celebrate with us.
