Will Transportation Be Provided?

Answer

Yes, shuttles will depart from the Hotel du Pont starting at 5:30PM. Returning shuttles will begin to run at 11:30PM and will drop guests off at the Hotel du Pont.

Are Children Invited?

Answer

Yes, due to health and safety concerns, we thought it would be best that anyone traveling from afar could bring their kids to avoid contact with external babysitters. However, if you live close by and want to leave your kids at home, we fully support letting some parents let loose on the dance floor.

Will There Be an After Party?

Answer

Since our wedding is on the later side, we will not be having an official after party. However, everyone is welcome to grab a drink back at the hotel once the reception has come to an end!

Will the Wedding Be Outside?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony will take place in the Winterthur gardens. While it is outdoors, the grounds of the garden are paved with stone and are easy to walk on. However, please keep the weather in mind when dressing for the occasion.

Can I Visit the Museum While I'm Here?

Answer

Absolutely! Every guest is entitled to a gardens and gallery pass for the weekend. You can claim your pass at the front desk located in the Visitor Center Lobby.

Do I need to rebook my hotel?

Answer

Yes, we have cancelled the original hotel block. Guests will need to rebook their rooms for the new date. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

What Covid precautions will be taken?

Answer

Although we can't predict what June will look like, we promise to do our absolute best to keep everyone safe and comfortable. As the day gets closer, please check Winterthur's website to see what rules and regulations will be in place at that time. While this is an outdoor wedding, we still want to make sure that all rules are being followed so that everyone can leave happy and healthy. That being said, we ask that all of our guests do their best to stay safe before and during the wedding. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!
