We personally recommend using Uber while in Medellín. Uber drivers follow the rates listed in the app, while traditional taxis may quote their own fares. It’s common for drivers to ask passengers to sit in the front seat. Please keep in mind the more common cars are on the smaller side so be mindful when ordering the uber what size car you pick. If you’d like to tip, please carry small bills, as tipping isn’t available through the Uber app.
