What lodging options are available at Greenhorn Ranch?

Answer

Rooms at the Greenhorn Ranch are on a first-come first-served basis. There are 11 rooms in the Lodge; 9 rooms with a king bed, 1 room with a queen bed, and 1 room with two queen beds. There are also 16 cabins: 8 one-bedroom cabins with different sleeping arrangements from a king and two queens; king, double, and bunk beds; king and two twins; and king, sofa, and bunk beds; and 8 studio cabins with a king and bunk beds or single king.

How far is the venue from Reno?

Answer

Greenhorn Ranch is about 75 miles and an 1:15-1:30 drive from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

How do I get from the Reno airport to the venue?

Answer

The Greenhorn Ranch may be able to accommodate a shuttle bus if sufficient notice and planning is provided. Other options include renting a car ($30-60/day) or possibly Uber/Lyft (about $110 one-way).

What is the attire?

Answer

The ceremony is “smart casual” - please no shorts or t-shirts. Suits are not necessary but feel free to wear what you are comfortable with. Greenhorn Ranch is an active horse ranch and the grounds include mostly grass and dirt paths. Wear comfortable shoes/boots. The weather can be variable in early October, so pack layers and expect the mornings and evenings to be chilly.
