One of the oldest streets in Hong Kong. To get around Hong Kong Island, I recommend at least taking the tram a few times to experience the different neighborhoods. Tram is only available on Hong Kong Island that goes from Central to Chai Wan. Hong Kong is very easily accessible using public transportation. Everything is very well-labeled. Other public transportation include MTR (subway) and buses. Taxi fare is very cheap. Hong Kong island and Kowloon taxis are red. If you cross from HK Island to Kowloon or vice versa, just need ask around to make sure the taxi drivers are able/ willing to do that. You will need to pay for the road trip tunnel fee. New Territories ones are green. Lautau Island ones are blue.
Back in the days, we would take the Star Ferry to go across the harbor from Central to Tsim Sha Tsui and catch the beautiful skyline of both sides. Sadly, Start Ferry had discontinued its service in 2022 due to COVID. Hong Kong is full of public transportation, so taking a bus or MTR (subway) to get across would work too! TST is full of fun! There's Avenue of the stars, that railway clock, science museum, hong kong history museum etc. Once you're in TST, you can go to Mong Kok and just walk around and eat all the street foods :D
Recommend to spend a day at Lan Tau Island. You can take the Ngong Ping 360 (cable car) to Ngong Ping Village, and also to visit Big Buddha. Ngong Ping is definitely very touristy - up to you if you'd like to experience it (lol). There's also a big outlet mall at Tung Chung. Disneyland is around that area which you can spend all day there as well, but Disneyland in Hong Kong is VERY small (I wouldn't recommend)
More to come
