Saturday, January 26, 2019 was the start to our forever. See story below.
It all started with a "Surprise Birthday Party." Napoleon has never been a man of attention; he is actually a very private person, and because of that Candace decided to plan him a "Surprise Birthday Party." To her surprise, his family was already in the process of doing so, or at least that's what she was told. Being the inquisitive person she was, Candace only task was to make sure Napoleon never knew about the "Surprise Birthday Party."
Candace had it all planned out, so she thought. She treated him to breakfast, spa day and lunch. Candace lead Napoleon to believe that the day would be full of surprises, blindfolding him everywhere they went. Little did she know, the surprise was actually planned for her.
As time grew closer, Candace and Napoleon were chauffeured to the location blind-folded. When she walked in, Napoleon waited for her, singing the song he wrote for her.
He proposed and she accepted.
This photo was taken moments before Candace entered the building. It was a dark room, full of family and friends. Filled with nervousness, Napoleon anxiously waited. His plan was in full affect.
Filled with suspicion, Candace remained blindfolded until Napoleon cued his helpers to cut the blindfold.
At this time, Napoleon is singing the proposal song he wrote, arranged and produced; waiting to show her everything he planned.

Overwhelmed with emotions, the surprise is revealed. He is about to propose! Candace is so shocked. She cannot believe this is actually happening.
Napoleon assumes the position; he is down on one knee...

Candace says yes! The hug for an extended time.
Continuing to hug, neither one of them wanted to let go! What an embrace!
Living in the moment, it was like time stopped. Overwhelmed with tears, the two continue to embrace one another.
Many people asked Candace what was going on in this photo... her reply was, "prayer."
Eyes filled with tears, Candace couldn’t see her ring at first. Once she could actually seen it, she almost passed out! She loved it!
What a joyous occasion. Napoleon's mother is so proud of her son.

"I'm engaged now", she yelled at the camera.
After the two were done taking photos, Napoleon had a change of wardrobe for her. Candace changed and was welcomed by with a warm hug from his mother.

This photo is from their first dance, nothing but laughter and good music. This candid the epitome of true friendship. The couple danced the night away!
