To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears under the age of 18 years, we politely request no children at the Welcome Dinner, Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, or the Reception. You however are allowed to have them on your vacation, we just kindly ask you to make arrangements for them during our wedding activities. (Check out the resort for things children would have fun doing while you celebrate with us!)
Hyatt Ziva Cancun is an all Inclusive Resort which includes - All you can eat. All you can drink. All, included in your room rate! So your hotel room, all meals, all drinks and taxes are included as well as all wedding events and activities. Make sure you book with our travel agent (free to you) so you get the best room rate since we have a special hotel block and pricing for our guests. Yes! We will be having a welcome dinner just for you on Saturday night June 10, 2023! See our "wedding venue" page for dress code for this night. It will be a 2 hour Surf and Turf dinner on the beach with some surprises thrown in!
Dress as you would for any wedding you would attend: Attire: Cocktail, Smart Casual: MEN: Long pants, dress shorts or bermudas, collared shirt only please. Jacket optional. Dress close-toe shoes, or dress sandals. WOMEN: Dress or jumpsuit (pants or shorts), cocktail dress, maxi dress, and dress shoes. Women there will be grass so plan your shoes accordingly. Men and Women Please No Hats, Flip Flops, Beach Sandals, or Tennis Shoes.
Ceremony starts promptly at 5PM Mexico Time Zone so arrive about 10-15 minutes before the ceremony starts
Yes! Please make a request before March 1, 2023 and we will pass the information onto the wedding team in Mexico
You my friend are going to be on vacation in Mexico so enjoy yourself! We want you to relax, eat and just enjoy. The days we would like you to join us is Saturday night June 10th for the Welcome Dinner in honor of you and on our wedding day Sunday June 11th from 5-11 PM. ASAP! You only need to make a down payment to reserve your room and let us know you are coming! After that, the final payment is not due until March 1, 2023!
The deposit is $150 per person and is due at the time of booking. If you decide to add travel insurance (we highly suggest travel insurance), the full cost of the insurance will also be due at that time as well. Yes! Roundtrip transportation is included in the price you pay for your stay in Mexico! A shuttle will take you to the resort upon your arrival and will take you back to the airport upon your departure!
Yes! A passport is mandatory. If you do not have a passport or need to renew yours, please visit the US Passport Center website or your local post office! We encourage you to get this sooner rather than later- they are experiencing longer delay times due to covid. If you have a Passport we encourage you to check the expiration date. Your Passport must be good for 6 months past the time you will be returning to the USA.
Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. The ceremony will be held at the Lighthouse Gazebo at the resort with a cocktail hour and reception held at the Rooftop Terrace also located at the resort!

You are welcome to arrange your airfare on your own! Many wedding guests have points or miles they like to use and appreciate the opportunity to do so! Once your airfare is booked, please let Nikki our travel agent know so she can make sure you have transportation to the resort!
