We’re Getting Married!

Our story began on Easter Sunday morning in 2016 when Colby attended church with Candace’s brother Brandon. Candace caught Colby’s eye wearing a yellow dress; she made such an impression on him he knew he had to get to know her. Many years in between Colby always wanted to ask Candace out, however, the timing for them never fell into place. As the years went by Colby would jokingly come see Candace’s dad and tell him he was asking for Candace’s hand in marriage; to her dad’s reply “Colby you have to ask her out first!” Colby would also make jokes to Candace’s brother Brandon telling him one day he would be his brother-n-law. Fast forward to 2021 when Colby sent Candace flowers as a secret admirer. Candace had no idea who the flowers were from, however, it paid off as a good first step for Colby. She was not sure at first about dating Colby but the more they texted and talked the more she could see he was a great guy. Candace was taken back by Colby’s kindness and his persistence in pursuing her. He always wanted her to be who she was and not someone else. For Candace, realizing how much he got along with her family made her start to realize she was falling in love with him. Together Candace and Colby have made room in their lives and in their hearts for one another till death do they part.
