We've officially rescheduled! Wedding is on!

It was a dark, misty night, deep in the mean streets of Kensington, Philadelphia... Unbeknownst to them at the time, two star-crossed lovers would meet for the first time at the kickoff of a Tuesday Night Axe Throwing League at Urban Axes. Cana was wearing a large white sweater that was way too formal for the occasion, accompanied by a pair of bellbottoms you could hide a small child under. Collin...well he was dressed like a normal 23 year old male. It didn't take long for their eyes to lock, both realizing the intense shimmer of competition in each others eyes. Before long, Collin was showing Cana pictures of his recently adopted puppy (a classic move); a puppy that only moments later, Cana (still a stranger at this time) asked to babysit on literally any occasion. Within days, that same puppy would bring us together again; the PERFECT excuse to exchange usernames on snapchat. Before long, there were ramen dates, concerts, birthdays, dog birthdays, Christmases with each others families, and finally the decision to uproot our lives and everything we've ever known, to move out to CO together.

Cana and Collin had talked about marriage long before they became engaged, but that didn't make the timing any less of a surprise. Collin moved to Colorado a month earlier than Cana, due to the start dates of their respective new jobs. On a beautiful sunny day in June, Cana finally completed her 2000 mile journey and arrived at their new apartment, with nothing more than some clothes and their beloved puppy Finn. Little did she know, Collin had already purchased an engagement ring on his own birthday back in May, and was eagerly awaiting her arrival. Less than 24 hours later, the two had embarked on a challenging hike to the top of a local mountain, Blodgett Peak. Shorts weather at the bottom and freezing cold at the top, Cana was completely unaware that the purpose of the hike was much more than just a beautiful welcome to our new lives in Colorado. After setting up the GoPro to snag some pictures of us on the summit, Collin asked her to make a pose towards the camera, and he got down on one knee, ring in hand. Maybe about 5 seconds later, while Cana was still aggressively posing at the camera and Collin was starting to sweat, he cleared his throat loud enough to break her from her trance. If she had said no, we wouldn't be writing this! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Colorado!
