We met as freshmen in high school, and nearly ten years later, here we are — still side by side. It’s wild to think how much has changed since then. What began as a teenage friendship gradually grew into something steady and real. We’ve navigated high school, college, long distance, new cities, and life’s ups and downs — always learning and supporting each other. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s always felt right. This past April, we celebrated 10 years together, and Colin proposed in Newport. It was cold and rainy, and I was definitely not dressed for it (typical me), but we were surrounded by our closest family — exactly how I’d hoped. Even though I had a feeling it was coming, the moment still felt special. We chose Portugal for our wedding because it’s where my family is from, and my heritage means a lot to me. It’s also the place of our first big trip together — full of memories and meaning for both of us. Planning the celebration there just felt like the perfect way to bring everything full circle. We’re so excited to celebrate with all of you in Lisbon in 2026!
