Hotel
Cabins are free for all guests to stay in both Friday and Saturday night!
Flight
PWM is the closest airport but BOS has more options, easy travel up to Maine, and will likely have better deals.
Flight
Sometimes you can find better deals going to these other nearby airports. Portsmouth and Manchester are actually closer to Maine than Boston but you would likely have to rent a car to get up to Maine. Augusta 'airport' is VERY small but there are Cape Air flights that go there from Boston and it would put you only 30 minutes from the Camp.
Travel Note
Concord Coach Lines: Bus that runs throughout the day from Logan Airport (Boston) to Portland and other Maine points. The Logan to Portland route has an option to stay on for one more stop which would put you in Augusta which is about 25-30 minutes from the Camp.
Train
Runs from Boston North Station to Portland. I will note that the train typically does take longer than the bus.
Travel Note
If you are flying in and are not planning on renting a car, please let me know and can figure out a local person who you can ride up with. It takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to drive from Portland to Camp Vega.
Travel Note
If you don't want to sleep onsite at the Camp, the closest town with lodging would be Augusta or Hallowell, which is about a 30 minute drive away. You may be able to find some rentable cabins nearby as well.
