The camper cabins can accommodate anywhere from 1-12 twin beds. Towels and linens will be provided to you, put if you have a special pillow or sheets feel free to bring them along as well. Each camper cabin has electricity, toilets, and sinks. There's an example of a camp cabin on the virtual tour on the Camp Vega website: https://campvega.com/camp-vega-virtual-tour/. There are several shower cabins throughout the camp and will be nearby camper cabins. There are also a handful of cabins that have attached full bathrooms and/or queen beds. Special consideration for these cabins will be given to guests on a need-basis.
No, unless you want it to! There are over 25 camper cabins, so we envision an average cabin could range from 2-6 people, depending on how many guests choose to stay overnight.
Probably not! We will work with everyone through questionnaires and other conversations to try and match you with friends/family. Our goal will be to ensure everyone who chooses to stay is comfortable.
We will plan on providing/catering lunch and dinner Friday, breakfast/lunch and dinner Saturday (with potentially some late night snacks), and breakfast Sunday. There will be a coffee and espresso truck coming Saturday morning for all your morning beverage needs. We will also plan on having snacks available between meals. If you plan to stay for the weekend, you shouldn't need to leave camp to eat!
Yes! We will be providing plenty ourselves but you can welcome to bring anything you think will add to your (or everyone's) experience. Sharing is caring.
Highly recommend bringing camp chairs with you! There's a lot of bench seating but not as many chair seats if you prefer that. Also, anything you would want for a summer lake weekend. At minimum for clothing, we recommend bringing your wedding gear, some active clothes, and a swim suit.
Yes, we will have some designated spaces to be used for this purpose.
If you have a reasonably well-behaved dog that get's along with other dogs, then yes! Just be sure to give us a heads up. While we would also love for you to bring your cats, we aren't allowing for it since we would be afraid of them encountering some not-so-friendly woodland critters...
Potentially! Let us know if you are interested in bringing your boat for the weekend. We have room for up to five boats to be docked on the camp waterfront, and there is a public boat launch for the lake nearby.
Honestly, we don't really know. TBD
