Treat it as if you were going camping! September is always a good mix of weather- could be cold or could be hot! Bring warm clothes for night time and a mix for the days. The wedding ceremony and reception will be an excuse to dress up- cocktail style!
You should have received a packing list. Please email us at campqandstu@gmail.com if you haven't received it or refer to the Facebook group!
When you arrive at the camp, follow the directional signs we will have for the check-in table (it will either be the baseball diamond or tuck shop). Someone will be there to greet you and if not, you'll find a walkie-talkie to use. You will find your cabin number there. Depending on where your cabin is, you might be able to drive to it to unload. After that, drive your car back to the front parking lot and begin to enjoy your stay!
The ceremony will take place in the outdoor chapel- rain or shine! Dress accordingly and please note this ceremony will be unplugged with a few moments of exception to take your own personal photos.
Each cabin has electricity! If you plan to bring a small heater/ fan depending on the weather- please ensure it is used safely. Each guest will have THEIR OWN cabin. There may be adjoining doors but your space will be private.
The camp has multiple and separated men and women washrooms all around the camp. Each building includes private stalls, multiple sinks with mirrors and individual showers. There will be baskets in each washroom building filled with any necessity you may have forgotten!
Stay tuned for more details! There is cell service on the grounds depending on what provider you are with. If immediate service/ WIFI is needed, take a small drive into town to visit a local cafe, etc.
Wedding Hashtag is #campqandstu - please use it all weekend long so we can look back at all the wonderful memories created!
Unfortunately, smoking is not permitted on the grounds but the camp allows you to smoke in the designated parking area. If you are a smoker, please take a short walk to the parking lot and dispose of your smoke safely and respectfully. This also includes vaping. Thank you.
We have planned several meals with the cater to ensure all meals include different preferences and tolerances. If you have a specific allergy or preference that you want to make clear to us, please email us at campqandstu@gmail.com
Yes. We recommend bringing cash to the camp. They should be supplying bags of ice if needed for your coolers which can be purchased at the Tuck Shop and if you wish to tip the bartenders for the open bar, I'm sure that would be appreciated by them! Thanks so much :)
Check in whenever you feel like it! We recommend the earlier the better to enjoy the campgrounds but latest, 2:00 to settle into your cabin and make your way to the ceremony. There will be directional signs for check-in. If no one is at the table, there should be a walkie-talkie to call someone to meet you.

Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed on the premises. I'm sorry you'll have to find other accommodations for your furry family members. We know we will be missing our Chico boy, too!
We recommend kids stay home with a family member as the camp grounds are large and cabins are further away from night activities. If you plan on bringing a child, please reach out to us to discuss and we will provide you further details, accommodations and additional cost. Please note, if you have an infant, they are more than welcome. The camp offers "Mommy Cabins" in the middle of cabins for changing/ bottle necessities and cleaning.
These weekend activities will be rain or shine! Luckily there are a lot of indoor buildings to take part in different activities. In the meantime, we will be planning a "Plan B" for other activities if raining. Some ideas we have are indoor movie night, indoor group games, etc!
